By the sounds of international student anthem “Gaudeamus igitur”, which was sung by the members of the choir “Ekvilibrion” under the baton of Olga Milicevic, John Naisbitt University, commenced the new academic year.
In a packed amphitheater A1 in 8 Goce Delceva street , freshmen were first addressed by academician Ljubisa Rakic, the chairman of the University Council.
New students were then welcomed by prof. Slobodan Pajovic, PhD, Rector of the University.
Having congratulated the freshmen, Academician Rakic and prof. Pajovic, talkedabout the high position of our University in the academic community and the advantages of studying at one of the 13 faculties that operate under the name “John Naisbitt”. Milica Mandic, a student of FCM and the holder of the first Olympic gold medal in the history of Serbian sport gave lecture to newcomers regarding a harmonious intertwining of teaching and extracurricular activities at this University, as well as the benefits for employed students and student top athletes.
The program was led by Dragana Micalović, a graduate student of FCM and an actress.
After delivery of the indexes, freshmen were having fun at the concert, which was prepared by popular singer Zeljko Vasic with his musical group.
